Come join the makers who support the dreamers! The Team You’ll Work With … The National Strategic Account Manager is responsible for exceeding sales quotas and fostering growth in Fireclay Tile’s commercial channel with National Brands and Corporate Accounts.
They work closely with the Head of Sales, Commercial Sales Managers, and leaders in Marketing, Support, and Production to build account relationships, drive growth sales, and develop brand rollouts, catalogs, and deliveries.
This is an entrepreneurial role for an individual who is excited to build strategy and systems, and has a strong passion for developing high-level relationships, networking and winning clients.
Competitive Compensation: Earn between $150K-$180K, inclusive of a base salary, compelling sales incentive bonuses, and stock options.
Located remote preferably from a major city center.

The opportunities you will have … Proactively research and profile key account opportunities, including building a network of key stakeholders, scheduling meetings, presentations, and networking events Prospect new business opportunities both individually and in partnership with local Sales reps to drive sales Travel to key markets monthly for outreach/prospecting of key clients.
Always be looking for ways to improve on the client experience and implement innovation as it relates to conversion and sales bookings.
Act as a liaison between the Commercial Sales Reps, Support Team, and Leadership in order to elevate team needs and then work to implement progress to support those needs.
Reports on sales targets and individual performance related to forecasting, progress on the broader company goals, and team/individual KPIs.
Negotiate account, production, and pricing agreements on behalf of Fireclay.
Provide consistent reporting around the performance of our National Accounts and opportunities for growth/improvement.
Administrative duties as needed.

About You … Business Acumen Sales skills Leadership Results Driven Problem Solving/Analysis Collaboration Skills Interact effectively at all levels Ability to organize workload for effective implementation Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves 5-7 plus years in a Commercial Sales role in a variety of businesses and industries, preferably with experience in interiors or building products, experience in national or strategic account sales is vital Bachelors Degree Work Requirements: This is a full-time, exempt position.
Days and hours of work are approximately Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.
m.
to 5 p.
m.
This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend and early morning/evening work.
Travel: Heavy domestic travel on a bi-weekly to monthly basis is required.
Travel may be done via a variety of ways, including flying, driving your own car or a rental car, public transportation including bus, train, subway, and other, shared rides such as Taxi, Uber, or Lyft, bicycling, walking, running, or other means as deemed appropriate and safe.
Ensuring you are following all safety precautions and the law during travel is essential.
Physical and environmental demands: This job operates in a professional office environment as well as some time in a manufacturing environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers, as well as software and hardware technology.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
Parts of the role are a sedentary role, and many other parts involve driving, walking, and helping move and lift items as needed.
The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms, shoulders and legs and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee may lift and /or move up to 10, 25 and 50+ pounds.
