Patterson Pope helps its broad base of clients in government, legal, finance, education, healthcare, retail, manufacturing and other sectors save money by designing and implementing storage solutions that maximize space and investment value.
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for using drafting and design software (CAD | CET Designer | Revit) to produce drawings and Bill of Materials for the wide range of products we represent.
These products include but are not limited to: mobile shelving, stationary shelving, modular millwork, and other office storage systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: · Confer with sales personnel to obtain design / engineering suggestions and customer requirements.
· Evaluate orders and proposals to determine feasibility of producing item.
· Provide design and drawings for office, warehouse, medical and military space design using company's product line.
· Produce costs for materials necessary to complete installation of designed system.
· Prepare orders.
· Revise drawings and quotes as needed.
· Other duties may be assigned.

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Must have the ability read blueprints.
Design or Engineering experience (school, or work) a plus.
· Experience with drafting / design software: AutoCAD | CET Designer (Configura) | Revit | Etc.

Microsoft Excel and Adobe Product Suite experience a plus.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Must have the ability to manage a large workload on a consistent basis.
Must have the ability to work well with others.
Experience with SalesForce software a plus.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
