*Role Overview:*
The Estimator/Project Manager plays a pivotal role in analyzing blueprints and other documents to prepare accurate material and labor estimates for clients, as well as managing project scopes and bid deadlines.
This full-time position, offering remote work flexibility, requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication skills and a dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
*Responsibilities:*
· Analyze blueprints, finish schedules, and other relevant documents to generate precise material and labor estimates for clients.
· Ensure exceptional quality customer service by providing timely and accurate estimates, meeting deadlines, and maintaining clear communication with clients throughout the bidding process.
· Liaise with clients to ensure a thorough understanding of project scope and requirements, and consistently communicate project updates and changes.
· Collaborate effectively with team members, including production and fabrication teams, to ensure alignment with project specifications and monitor project completion and costs.
*Education and Experience:*
· Bachelor’s degree (B.
A.
/B.
S.
) in a relevant field.
· Minimum 2+ years’ experience in estimating, with proficiency in working with architectural drawings.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Planning and project management skills.
· General knowledge of millwork and construction processes.
· Proficiency in mathematical calculations, including area, circumference, perimeter, and basic geometry.
· Experience using CADD and Estimating Software, with proficiency in Bluebeam Revu preferred.
· Proficiency in Excel, Google Docs, Sheets, and Mail
