Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented person to join our team as Regional Estimating Manager.
A bit about who we’re seeking: You have experience within Construction Project Estimating, Traffic Control, Traffic Engineering, and/or B2B Sales (resumes will not be considered without this) and can work hours supporting the Eastern Time Zone.
Key Responsibilities: Position is full time with flexible hours.
Overnight and out-state travel may be required occasionally.
Position is exempt for outside sales.
Position reports directly to the VP of Signal Sales.
Directly responsible for Portable Signalized project opportunities within an assigned region including, but not limited to: industry trends, opportunity qualification, financial workup, go to market strategy, post bid analysis, project take-off, pipeline projections, relationship development and specification review Mastering company specific terminology, technological capabilities, non-conventional product applications, culture, and values Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Regional Sales Directors on market trends, margin approvals, client partnerships, vertical training and opportunity schedule Directly responsible for the development, tracking, performance, and communication of financial targets for respective company vertical Prepare reporting materials driven by KPI data analytics on monthly/quarterly/annual timeline Develop annual strategic plan detailing methodologies for success during the fiscal year focused on respective efforts to meet or exceed quota targets Use company CRM (Salesforce), to develop, analyze, and manage the database of opportunities, inventory items and win/loss rate Collaborating with various team member efforts in sourcing and developing customer relationships by using referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face, cold calling, direct mail, email, social media and networking to find related business opportunities Review approval process for all related pricing opportunities from other team members Completion of daily/weekly sales KPI activity report Effective oversight of successful on-going customer relations related to projects Attend industry trade shows or association meetings (possibly out of state) to promote or educate target audience on respective company vertical On-site and remote group presentations, discussing and demonstrating the products to potential customers Collaboration on the negotiation with client quotes, contract verbiage, work agreements, and manufacturers that align with company goals and objectives Other duties as assigned In addition to the above, the ideal candidate should have: Experience working with governmental agencies in the transportation safety industry (strongly desired but not required) Experience within transportation, road construction, traffic safety, or intelligent transportation (strongly desired but not required) Ability to identify, engage, and close business with governmental agencies on a condensed cycle Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comprehensive knowledge on general relevant financial areas Computer skills and proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office products and database management Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public Ability to be self-directed and highly motivated with minimal supervision Excellent customer communications, interaction, and presentation skills Possession of a valid state driver’s license Bachelor’s degree is preferred; relevant work experience may be a substitute Product Focus Description: The Street Smart portable signalized device line combines state-of-the-art IT and communication systems with portable traffic control devices.
