Due to continued growth, our Environmental Services Group is seeking an Environmental Inspector to join our team to work remote from Texas.
Responsibilities:
Perform on-site environmental inspections associated with pipeline construction projects
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the Endangered Species Act, and Clean Water Act (Section 404)
Ensure proper installation of erosion control devices
Environmental Inspection is an intense exercise of knowledge, judgment, and stamina as projects are conducted on a rotating 7-day week in the full range of outdoor conditions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Environmental Science, Biological Resources, or related field AND a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Extensive successful track record may be considered in lieu of degree.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work long hours outdoors under various field conditions
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to travel between 100% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks.
