ROLE SUMMARY Electrical Construction Foreman will be responsible for leading construction projects for large commercial & industrial (C&I) and utility sectors (running conduit, pulling cable, coordinating subs, installation of TX, PCS, BESS, and SWGRs) battery testing and installation.
The ideal electrical foreman will have experience within the construction field with a focus on low voltage power distribution and medium voltage power systems.
Solar and battery storage systems experience is preferred.

Overtime and weekend working hours may be required as needed.
This position is expected to travel up to 100% ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES Work as part of the construction team in the building of energy storage design-build projects Collaborate with construction managers, electrical superintendent, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
Fully understand the construction plan and schedule for the electrical portion of the project.
Lead a team of electricians and/or electrical contractors, providing clear instructions and guidance on project tasks.
Monitor their performance, provide feedback, and ensure work is completed in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to create a safe work environment.
Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
Coordinate with the construction manager and electrical superintendent to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment needed for the project.
Maintain an inventory of materials and equipment on-site and handle any issues related to shortages or defects.
Ensure the electrical work meets high-quality standards and follows the project's design specifications.
Conduct inspections to identify and rectify any defects or deviations from the plan.
Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and address any concerns or issues that arise during the project.
Identify and resolve any electrical issues or challenges that arise during construction.
Implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
Ensure all electrical work adheres to local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Stay up to date with code changes and implement necessary adjustments.
Maintain detailed records of project activities, including progress reports, materials used, labor hours, and safety incidents.
Prepare and submit required documentation for project completion and inspections.
Identify training needs for the electrical construction team and report to the electrical superintendent.
Familiar with design and operation of power systems ranging from 208V to 35kV distribution and transmission systems Knowledge, interpretation, and application of NFPA 70 E, NFPA 70 NEC, and applicable energy codes.
In-depth knowledge of single-line drawings, wiring diagrams, equipment specifications (including transformers, MCC, switchgear, substation equipment); power plans, conduit plans, cable schedules, system studies, and protective relay settings.
Ability to interpret client specifications, redline construction packages Must be able to attend commercial and industrial sites and observe all applicable safety regulations Able to work under and meet tight deadlines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Licensed Journeyman Electrician Highschool Diploma or GED Any college/trade school is an asset 6+ years in electrical construction Electrical experience: 6+ years (required) Past leadership role (required)
