*ONE Technology Services *is seeking an experienced *Data Application Specialist* with a proven track record in data foundations, warehousing, data architecture, and AI/ML, particularly in the realm of IoT or IIoT systems.
The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of relevant experience and have a deep understanding of data governance, cloud hosting options (especially GCP), and superior communication and analytic skills.
*What you need / Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in data foundations, warehousing, data architecture, and AI/ML, preferably in IoT or IIoT systems.
* Working knowledge of cloud hosting options, with a strong emphasis on GCP.
* Superior communication and analytic skills.
* Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
*What you'll do:*
* Provide expertise in the ongoing operations, maintenance, and administration of network systems.
* Evaluate and enhance the features and capabilities of data applications, ensuring they align with business requirements and industry best practices.
* Oversee the technical platform, ensuring its robustness, scalability, and adaptability to meet evolving business needs.
* Implement and optimize data applications on cloud platforms, with a primary focus on GCP.
Leverage knowledge of AWS and Azure as secondary considerations.
* Demonstrate expertise in IoT protocols to facilitate seamless communication between devices and applications.
* Monitor and optimize system response times and latency to ensure optimal performance for end-users.
* Implement and enforce data security measures, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
* Enable customers to configure and customize the system according to their needs.
Develop and maintain APIs for seamless integration.
* Ensure interoperability with other systems and applications to support a cohesive technological environment.
* Design and implement scalable solutions to accommodate growing data volumes and user demands.
* Keep abreast of emerging technologies and adapt existing systems to incorporate innovative solutions.
* Establish and maintain systems with high reliability and minimal downtime.
* Focus on enhancing the user experience, making data applications intuitive and user-friendly.
* Develop comprehensive technical specifications, installation & implementation guides, and user training materials.
* Proactively identify opportunities for product enhancement, and oversee the ongoing maintenance and support of data applications.
