*Job Function:*
Our company is currently looking to hire a Project Detailer to our growing team.
The Project Detailer will work closely with our Project Management department to produce detailed door, frame, and hardware specifications, schedules, and shop drawings for commercial construction projects awarded to the company.
The Project Detailer is responsible for reviewing contract documents with diligent thoroughness to ensure project details are free of errors, compliant with local code, and budgeted accurately.
The Detailer needs to be detail oriented, have a knack for problem solving, and the ability to coordinate with the Estimating and Project Management teams.
*Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and blueprints accurately and on time
* Ensure material quoted matches the scope of the job
* Proficient in utilizing manufacturer catalog sheets to support DFH products that are being detailed
* Verify, research, and review the estimated costs of each product while ensuring it aligns with cost expectations for the project and the company
* Review submittals, schedules, and specifications to support the client’s project expectations
* Analyze and revise quote details throughout the approval process for each project assigned
* Other duties as assigned

* Ability to work well within a team, and independently when necessary
* High proficiency in the commercial door, frame, and hardware industry with a keen understanding of materials used
* Go-getter with a tenacious attitude
* High level of cross functional communication
* Experience reading blueprints
* Experience working with different software programs and open to learning new ones

* Experience handling diverse scopes of projects
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70,000.
