Tile Setter

*Tile Setter * We are looking for a skilled tile setter to join our installation team for Brevard County’s fastest growing and most professional HVAC and plumbing company.
As a tile setter, you will meet clients’ satisfaction by discussing their tiling needs, ordering supplies effectively, cutting tiles to size, and installing to specifications.
You may also be required to prepare supply lists, pickup needed materials, and complete job reports.
To ensure success as a tile setter, you should have extensive knowledge of tiling techniques, a good eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.
A top-notch tile setter expertly installs tiles to meet the needs of the customer.
*Tile Setter Responsibilities:* * Meeting with management to discuss scope of work.
* Measuring the area that must be tiled to determine stock requirements.
* Providing clients with an accurate timeline for completion of projects.
* Ordering stock supplies and gathering tiling equipment.
* Cutting and shaping tiles to size.
* Cleaning and leveling the surface area.
* Applying tiling cement and arranging tiles according to design plans.
* Applying tiling grout.
* Cleaning off excess grout and conducting post-installation inspections.
* Processing job completion reports.
*Tile Setter Requirements:* * High school diploma or GED.
* Valid Driver's License * Previous experience as a tile or marble setter.
* Good communication skills.
* Basic carpentry skills.
* Blueprint knowledge and understanding.
* Ability to operate hand and machine cutting tools.
* Knowledge of tiling designs and installation techniques.
* Ability to work crouching or kneeling for long periods.
* Good problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.
