*Overview*: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Operations - Manufacturing.
As the leader of all manufacturing operations, this role will oversee all manufacturing departments including EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety), logistics, quality, customer service, and manufacturing.
Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, the Head of Operations will play a crucial role in aligning manufacturing processes with sales demands to ensure efficient production and delivery of finished products.
*Responsibilities*: * Provide strategic direction and leadership to all manufacturing departments, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
* Develop and implement operational plans to meet production targets and customer demands.
* Collaborate with sales and demand planning teams to forecast demand and develop production plans accordingly.
* Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
* Oversee EHS initiatives to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
* Manage logistics and supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products.
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process optimization.
* Foster a culture of innovation, teamwork, and accountability within the manufacturing organization.
* Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to drive operational excellence.
*Requirements*: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
* Proven experience in operations planning and management, preferably in the photovoltaic solar or semiconductor industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results.
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes and best practices, with a willingness to learn and adapt to global manufacturing standards, particularly in China.
* Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is preferred due to interactions with factory leaders globally.
* Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and achieving measurable results.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
