EPC Project Controller (scheduler) will be part of multi-functional project teams and will be focused on the adherence to the HQC Project Delivery System in development of schedules for assigned projects.
The scheduler will be assigned a portfolio of project schedules, including schedule creation, maintenance, and management, hosting and/or participating in review meetings with project teams and key stakeholders, providing timely updates to projects, preparing agreed upon schedule and cost reports, and management of all assigned schedules from the portfolio.
This position reports to the Director of Project Controls, or another management personnel that the President of the Company may designate.
This position is located in Irvine, CA and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time.
Overtime and weekend working hours may be required as needed.
Ability to travel, up to 10% of the time.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position; and Development and maintenance of EPC project schedules including integration of all subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholder schedule milestones.
Apply fundamental schedule control techniques and liaison its relationship to cost Develop and maintain procedures for scheduling process and reports across projects.
Provide analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.
Verify progress and review performance trends.
Investigate causes of variances between planned and earned/actual progress and documents discoveries.
Identify, analyze, and document project schedule variances and conclude on possible impacts.
Support the development of plans and schedules for Sales and Development Opportunities.
Actively participate in the development of project Work Breakdown Structure.
Collaborate with team members when necessary to ensure effective communication and results.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education - Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in engineering, or another related fild engineering science Years of Experience – 3~ 7 years in Project Controls (Planning / Scheduling) Advanced knowledge and proficiency in use of Scheduling Software Tools such as Primavera P6 & MS Project.
Ability to travel, up to 10% of the time.
Experience supporting the completion of large-scale projects, particularly construction and/or solar PV projects.
Assertive, able to cope with dynamic surroundings, a team player.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly.
The anticipated starting pay range of this position, which is to be located in Irvine, CA is $750,000 - $115,000 base salary per year.
The above-listed salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide.
The salary range shared in the job description is for the listed position and only pertains to the candidate if they work in Irvine, CA.
Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications.
An additional discretionary bonus structure or incentives may be offered as part of the overall compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
