ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP® is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Federal team.
This position is remote.
Regular travel (approximately 25-50%), including overnight stays dependent on project(s) location is required.
The Senior Project Manager has direct responsibility for all of the outcomes in an ESG project lifecycle.
The Senior Project Manager will provide leadership to ensure safe operations and installation of quality work, with high levels of client satisfaction and financial success.
Specifically, the Senior Project Manager will develop and implement the proper schedule, project budget, and direct the overall execution of the project plan.
Additionally, the Senior Project Manager is the primary interface with our clients and is directly responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.
This role will work primarily in the Appropriated Military Construction market.
The essential functions of the position includes: Ensure that each assigned project is completed with a zero-defect safety mindset, required quality metrics, on schedule and that financial targets are achieved Develop and maintain ongoing contact with the customer to schedule and coordinate all work performed and to ensure clear and consistent communication about the project’s progress, costs, and training Overall management of the coordination with client, designers, and sub-contractors, in order to facilitate design and construction activities Manage financial aspects of the project, to include all negotiations with client and subcontractors Lead and develop an efficient, effective project work force, providing training and supervision for each member assigned to the project and coordinating team member activities to meet project objectives Coordinates with ESG Management, Finance and Accounting support groups to ensure project reporting is accurate and timely Responsible for ensuring compliance with all OSHA, Federal, State and safety regulations as well as all ESG policies and procedures Your background includes: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a preference for engineering and construction management A minimum of seven (7) years' engineering and construction-related experience managing construction projects with the skills below: Federal, specifically military construction, experience is a strong preference.
Design-build experience is a strong preference Experience with projects in the $5-$30 million range Proficiency with USACE 3-Phase Quality Control System Fluency in Primavera systems is a strong preference USACE RMS experience is a strong preference USACE CQCM Certification preferred Demonstrated working knowledge of OSHA, Federal, and State Safety regulations Demonstrated ability to manage projects from development to project closure Obtain clearances to work at military and other critical government facilities A bonus to have: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Construction Manager (CCM) Designated Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) What we bring to you: Professional growth and development programs including tuition reimbursement Comprehensive health and wellness plans for you and your family 401(k) Savings Plan Paid holidays and paid time off Highly competitive salaries and incentive structure We want you to know: ESG is an Equal Opportunity employer dedicated to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
