The Critical Facilities Technical Coordinator supports and/or manages the planning, operation and maintenance of Critical Facilities, network and related infrastructure.
Performs diverse inspection, monitoring and maintenance tasks to ensure facility and/or network uptime and availability.
Manages safety, costs, quality of workmanship and security of facilities, facility contents and associated networks and systems.
What you will do to contribute to the company's success Gains familiarity with Critical Facilities and/or related network and infrastructure technologies, methods and practices.
Gains a basic understanding of core technologies such as power (e.
g.
, generators, power plant, BDFB, inverters), HVAC (e.
g.
, AC, humidifiers) and fire suppression (e.
g.
, FM200, fire extinguishers).
Assists with routine regulatory inspections on critical equipment and properties and maintenance of associated service records.
Assists with monitoring of Critical Facilities for environmental, fire protection and security compliance and risk avoidance.
Monitors generator, batter backup, power plant and other systems performance.
Assists in providing fire protection and safety compliance standards.
Assists with the installation of new power systems, cables, and distribution points.
Assists with update and maintenance of Critical Facilities dashboard reports.
Supports team efforts to establish voice, video and data networks by running, pulling, terminating and splicing cables, installing equipment and establishing appropriate connections.
Verifies service by testing circuits, equipment and alarms – notifies team members in case of issues or problems.
Labels and routes equipment and cables as directed.
Participates in a stand-by rotation to provide 24/7 coverage Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Familiarity with Microsoft Office products Project Management experience Strong communication skills Attention to detail Strong organizational skills Core Competencies Committed: Values each customer, while working hard to keep their business and support our communities.
