Electrical Estimator

Responsibilities: - Analyze construction plans and specifications to determine project requirements - Communication with electrical distributors - Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects * Labor cost * Materials * Job duration -Establish proper exclusions on a job to job basis - Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating - Utilize construction management software such as Accubid - Review and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors - Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process - Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code) Experience: - Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes - Proficiency in using estimation software - Excellent mathematical and analytical skills - Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications - Strong negotiation and communication skills - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy - Familiarity with cost control techniques Note: Experience in electrical construction projects is preferred but not required.
