Summary of Role: SunPower is seeking a strong team player who will directly manage residential PV projects installed through our Installation Partners.
The Installation Partner Project Manager position is responsible for the direct management, tracking, oversight, and delivery of multiple concurrent residential PV and PV+Storage projects while delivering superior customer experiences.
This position will be a liaison with customers, installation partners, and trade partners.
Additionally, this role will review projects for constructability, resolve issues, and manage each project through interconnection while ensuring daily action.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Effectively communicate with a variety of people including customers, internal teams, installation partners, trade partners, and leadership Review each project in detail ensuring all complexities are understood and captured in the scope of work Ensure partners deliver projects with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Use data and analytics to understand partner capacity, utilization, performance, and costs Drive compliance with SunPower requirements and operating procedures Maintain CRM database daily Assist in organizational cost reduction efforts and overall process improvements and documentation Responsible for effective oversight, negotiation, and management of multiple Installation Partners Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Excellent communication and organizational skills Familiarity with construction and electrical codes Proven ability to successfully procure, monitor, and assess subcontractor construction operations Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM Familiarity with business intelligence platforms Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Project Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and driving screen Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of project management experience 3+ years of PV and PV+Storage project experience Direct experience working with PV and/or electrical subcontractors Strong technical, supervisory, and project management skills based on industry experience Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers and vendors Please note the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and in the geographical location noted.
The base pay for this position ranges from $74,800/year to $134,640/year.
Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package including annual bonus eligibility, short and long-term incentives, and a comprehensive and competitive benefits program which includes health insurance coverage, employee wellness, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, paid time off, and so much more.
