*General Overview*
Byrd Enterprises is looking for a Senior Contract Specialist to manage the Cemetery Maintenance Federal Division team.

The Contract Specialist is responsible for the overall management, coordination, implementation, control and completion of Federal Contracts, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and the goals of Byrd Enterprises.
Travel will be required to acclimate with contract locations.
*Responsibilities*
* Plan and implement success plans for each Contract
* Create project timelines, goals, and deliverables
* Manage Customer relations
* Manage Contract Specialist Team
* Train and Manage the on-site Project Managers and team
* Track project deliverables and timelines
* Lead quality control
* Manage daily project progress
* Lead and assist with the bidding process
* Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs (Ex.
Working overtime)
* Evaluate and assess result of projects and provide this data to leadership team
* Manage all contract teams, project managers, customer expectations, re-competes and bids, and administrative tasks of role.
*Experience Needed*
* 5+ years of project management experience
* 5+ years in grounds or construction industry experience
* Proficient in Office365 software
* Customer Relation Skills
* Ability to train employees to maximize efficiency and productivity.
*Requirements*
This position can be worked remotely or out of BEU HQ in Lynchburg Va.
Frequent travel at first to acclimate to teams and customers to the Contract sites may be required.
As the Sr.
Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a variety of projects in the Cemetery Division; oversite, management of the project managers, billing/reporting, and ensuring full contract lifecycle success and optimization.
Customer Relations and Management will be critical to ensure we maintain a good working relationship with our customers.
This position will have between 4-6 direct reports as project managers and crews underneath them.
Must be able to evaluate potential problems and develop solutions.
Travel to Jobsites is required when necessary for meetings with government Contract Representatives, for periodic inspections, to price any contract modifications, or to solve any issues that arise and to ensure all work is completed to the Specifications outlined in the Contract.
The Contract Specialist is responsible for the successful completion of a contract.
This may require providing quotes/pricing, research, projections, and overall administrative contract management one day, and the traveling on-site to assist the on-site Project Manager and crews with deliverables in the field.
This position will require a self-motivated, flexible individual.
Must be able to pass a government background check to obtain an ID.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.
