*Position Overview:*
As an NOC Server Specialist, you will be the go-to person for client queries, providing second-level service by addressing tickets on our ServiceNow platform.
As part of the 24x7 infrastructure surveillance team, you'll ensure maximum service availability and performance for Managed Infrastructure Services.
Your role encompasses server builds, application upgrades, and network equipment installation.
Collaborate across departments and contribute to the skill development of colleagues through workshops and presentations.
*Responsibilities:*
*Network Monitoring and Maintenance:*
o Monitor and maintain large-scale networks using advanced platforms like SolarWinds and LogicMonitor.
o Implement firmware and Windows patching for enhanced network security and performance.
*Collaboration and Troubleshooting:*
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
o Utilize ServiceNow for incident tracking, resolution, and documentation.
*Knowledgebase Management:*
o Actively contribute to and maintain the client knowledge base with technical documentation.
*24x7 Support:*
o Participate in a 24x7 shift and support call-out rota if required.
*Technical Contributions:*
o Perform server builds and installs, application upgrades, and network equipment installations.
*Skills and Qualifications:*
*Technical Proficiency:*
o Experience with Virtualization tools such as Hyper-V, and VMware vSphere.
o Managing and configuring out-of-band management tools (e.
g.
, ESXi, iDrac, iLO).
o Proven experience with Server 2016/2019/2022 and configuring Windows DNS/DHCP.
o Familiarity with Dell OpenManage, WMI, and PowerShell for system management.
o Detailed knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is preferred.
*Cloud Services and Monitoring:*
o Familiarity with Azure Entra and Azure cloud platform services.
o Experience with monitoring platforms like SolarWinds and LogicMonitor.

o Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: $45,000.
