The Project Manager plans and supervises a wide range of construction projects from start to finish.
In this role, you will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers, architects etc.
to determine the specifications of the project
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
Works with project coordinator to ensure buyout equipment arrives to job site in a timely manner
Performs pull-planning activities with General Contractor, discusses and reviews jobsite readiness with General Contractor
Hires contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities when needed
Communicates and works closely with Kamran superintendents for daily updates
Evaluates and reviews project progress by reviewing submittal logs, cost sheets, RFI logs, change order logs, etc
Reviews and releases custom fabricated equipment
Reviews and approves purchase orders
Negotiates and finalizes change orders
Deals with project-specific legal issues, escalating to company executives when needed
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a construction project manager
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
Ability to prioritize tasks based on level of importance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
Critical thinking and problem solving
