Software Engineer

Responsibilities & Qualifications: RESPONSIBILITIES Install software, convert databases as applicable, ensure network connectivity, test installed software to meet requirements, and provide application programming support to meet specifications.
Provide technical guidance to the Program Manager and other administrator personnel.
Responsible for effective provisioning, operation, installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware/software/related infrastructure.
(Lenel, AMAG, Honeywell, IQ MultiAccess, Bosch, LG, DAQ Electronics, DEA System SPA, Hirsch Electronics, Valerus, Pelco, IDIS, Panasonic, Axis Communication, GFMS, KeyTrak Guardian, Morse Watchman, Stanley Security Solutions Keystone, and Matrix Key Control) Provide technical support, guidance, and hands-on delivery in the planning, implementation, and ongoing operation of databases.
Ensure system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values and regulatory requirements.
Document specifications, project plans, configurations, test plans and results.
Depict complex ideas, issues, and designs to varied audiences.
Communicate project objectives, scope, and status to project teams.
Assist in system design, development, and implementation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Five years of overall professional experience in the software engineering field.
Five years of overall experience in Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems.
Five years of experience with the DLA electronic security systems.
Certifications: CCNA Security CySA+ GICSP GSEC Security+ CE SSCP CASP+ CE CCNP Security CISA CISSP (or Associate) GCED GCIH CCSP DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II Computing Environment Certification for Electronic Security Systems or Electronic Key Control solutions.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field Clearance: Must possess a Secret security clearance Overview: We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our team supporting DLA Integrated Electronic Security Systems (IESS) and Electronic Key Control (EKC).
