Project Scheduler within the Power Delivery group develops and manage schedules for projects, mainly in the fields of construction and engineering.
They assist project managers with schedule planning, coordinate tasks, and monitor the timelines of scheduled assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage schedulers within the group.
Assist in the development of processes and best practices.
Mentor, review and QC subordinate’s work.
Consulting with project managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.
Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
Monitoring project timelines and deadlines.
Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timeous manner.
Evaluating performance and preparing project progress reports.
Accommodating updates and changes to project schedules.
Recommending actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time.
Keeping stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines.
Documenting project scheduling processes and maintaining records.
Education & Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, accounting, or related field from an accredited program.
Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must have experience in the High Voltage, Power Delivery or T&D space.
Experience in Primavera (P6) and MS Project is a requirement also experience in TILOS is preferred.
Minimum of 1-3 years of related professional experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to identify potential problems and elevate these to the appropriate levels(s) of management.
Familiarization with Project Controls procedures.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, etc.
Previous internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidance.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships.
Available for occasional after-hours and/or weekend duties as work volumes dictate.
Travel to the Corporate Office or off-site locations for meetings and training as requested.
