Could This Be For You?: We are seeking an experienced IT Integration Engineer - Remote to support Hanger growth.
In this role you would help define, design, and implement technology integration for newly acquired and merged organizations.
Using defined architectures as well as architectural building blocks the candidate will design technical solutions that are fit for purpose and fit for use, while exceeding all Cybersecurity, administrative, compliance, and operational requirements.
The candidate will serve as a lead technical resource supporting business partners, technology requestors, 3rd parties and Sr.
staff.
Candidate will lead contract development activities such as quoting, statement of work, software licensing, and others as assigned.
This role will develop executive level reporting services that drive clarity, outcomes, and strategic development activities This IT Systems Integration Engineer IV will report to the IT Director, Merger and Acquisitions Success in this role will depend on the ability to: drive technology integration into our Hanger standard services, design and implement IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions that reliable maintenance of legacy services, facilitate the re-engineering of technology capabilities and operations to improve quality, efficiency, security, and reliability, work as both a team member and a team mentor in all aspects of technology and service implementation.
This role requires 50% travel.
Your Impact: Troubleshoot reported incidents and problems.
Provide support for any problems associated with the platform infrastructure for OnPrem, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Develop documentation and mentor Jr.
team members in process development, documentation standards, and remediation processes.
In collaboration with vendors and other 3rd parties, coordinate the replacement and installation of hardware and software solutions.
This includes the installation of physical servers, storage, and network.
equipment as well as the installation of all software components including configuration of related services.
Design technology solutions that meet technical requirements as defined by architectural documentation both on on-premise and cloud-based IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Document and maintain an inventory of all technology platforms.
Install, configure, and maintain server software including configurations such as IP, SAN, OS, Policies, etc .
Monitor, administer and support all infrastructure technology platforms.
Monitor and maintain on-premise and cloud-based backup and recovery service as documented by Hanger policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Strong cloud skill capabilities are required with experience in AWS and Azure cloud services.
Evidence of previous experience with proven service delivery capabilities in cloud enablement required.
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth and expert evaluation of variable factors including external service providers, administrative controls, architectural principals, and business objectives.
Leads the team in terms of mentorship, driving success across the team.
Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
Provide subject matter expertise in the implementation and development of on-premise and cloud-based technology services across all technology delivery methods including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Mentor Jr team members in the appropriate development, validation, and configuration of infrastructure services that exceed customer requirements.
In coordination with technology architects and using established architectural standards and services deliver standard configurations and artifacts.
Serve as the subject matter expert for technology services in support of 3rd party vendor solution evaluation, design, and implementation.
Design backup\recovery solutions that meet the business requirements and policy expectations set forth by Hanger.
Mentor Jr.
members of the team as to appropriate configuration and management of the infrastructure.
Administer routine validation audits of the backup and recovery environments to include ownership of the related remediation activities.
As a subject matter expert in Cybersecurity control management you will provide oversight and support for infrastructure service capabilities across all technology domains with Cybersecurity related controls and services.
This includes but is not limited to technology design, implementation, engineering, reporting, and support functions.
Design and implement services and procedures that comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, CyberSecurity, HIPAA, and Hanger regulations and policies as directed by Sr.
staff and management.
Provide reports as to system compliance and mentor Jr.
staff as to appropriate control management and services.
Participate in Internal Audit and External Audit activities including management action plan response development and reporting.
As a subject matter expert in cloud service technologies the individual will provide leadership in the design, development, and delivery of cloud solutions in both on-premise and public cloud service areas.
Mentoring Jr.
staff members in appropriate design, sizing, estimating, and securing cloud services is a critical component of success.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is desired; 2 years of experience can be substituted for one year of formal education 8+ years’ experience supporting a Windows server and Linux environments Must have basic knowledge of programming or scripting skills in any language Understanding of policies, procedures and management documentation Must have expert level knowledge and design experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Powershell, Linux, Microsoft Endpoint Management (SCCM and SCOM).
Must have design and administration experience with hardware in areas including compute, storage and backup.
Experience with x86 hardware and Enterprise Storage Appliances and Arrays is required.
Must have design experience with compute and storage provisioning and administration in AWS and/or Azure.
Additional Success Factors: MCSE/MCITP, VCP, Azure or Citrix certifications are a plus Understanding of storage, virtualization and cloud offerings Familiarity with Citrix, Microsoft System Center, VMWare vRealize Self-motivated to be a team player, with self-initiative to develop and understand technologies and solutions.
