Many skills are easily transferrable into this job such as, property maintenance, construction-related trades, and even having building hobbies.
The Inspector is on a team that reviews blueprints and walks the corresponding properties to verify that all details of construction are in accordance with building codes, health and safety responsibilities, and Fair Housing regulations.
