JOB SUMMARY: The Sr Masonry Installation Specialist provides training and technical knowledge to the sales team and customers to support the growth of the company within the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Comply with Company Safety Policies and Procedures Work safely every day and demand safety from those in contact with Conduct training on products and installation guidelines for sales team and consumers Deliver product knowledge training of ancillary products to educate and create demand for those products Present the Warranty and Code presentation to those within the industry Help increase the quality of installation by performing hands on product installation training for contractors and dealers Increase the number of qualified installers by working with trade organizations and Trade Training Schools Develop relationships with contractors and installation companies within the territory.
Participate in preconstruction and jobsite visits for ongoing projects Assist Area Sales Manager pull through demand for products with job specific support and training Develop “best practices” Technical Training materials used to further MSV Provide support to regional sales teams to help grow sales through product knowledge, support and service Support Warranty Claims Department through site visit for information gathering, and some material and staining repairs Continues to lead initiatives around safety, ensuring Zero/One/Ten is part of our culture KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Well versed in all aspects of installation techniques, product knowledge, building codes and product warranties Time management and problem-solving skills Self-motivated Excellent communications skills both written and verbal Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively Ability to speak Spanish is a plus Must be able to travel to PA, DC, VA, NY, New England areas EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 5 years of construction experience and/or 5 years of masonry experience and/or 3 years installing manufactured stone veneer preferred ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: The employee should possess the ability to: Extensive travel and overnight stays within region (up to 50% of time) Operate a pickup truck with trailer as needed Lift/move/transport items up 50 pounds Ability to move or traverse about the facilities Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions Must be residing in PA, DC, VA, NY or New England areas This is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions.
