SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Technical Operations, the Manager of Construction Quality will oversee GiGstreem’s national construction quality program.
In this role you will manage a team that is responsible for bridging the gap between field construction crews and internal construction management, ensuring quality, visibility, and consistent communication across active GiGstreem construction/installation projects.
Project locations include, but are not limited to; customer premise, property grounds, in-building, rooftops, towers, and data centers.
Travel may be required up to approximately 30%.

Become an expert on GiGstreem build standards and best practices
Continuous training of a nationwide team of Quality Leads and technicians who will visit projects to enforce standards and resolve quality issues
Oversee, and directly lead quality and remediation projects to bring previously deployed projects up to standard
Efficiently schedule regional Quality Leads so that they are appropriately splitting their time, providing an internal presence across all GiGstreem’s critical projects
Work with the internal team to review project scopes and designs with Construction Management and on-site crews to properly kick projects off, and set the bar for construction standards and practices
Lead the team to provide regular, on-site direction and guidance to construction crews, ensuring compliance with GiGstreem standards and best practices
Regularly scheduled inspections of worksite will include, but are not limited to; proper crew attire, crew conduct, job site cleanliness, proper safety/security, outside plant/fiber quality, equipment mounting quality, and proper cable specs
Ensuring that updates and documentation are flowing up from Quality Leads to Construction Management
Creating and presenting project quality data to internal leadership, focused on identifying problem areas and areas for improvement
Identify and solve for on-site warning signs before they become problems
Ensure that a comprehensive QC Audit of site is completed post-construction
Other duties as assigned
Pay Range: $80,000 – 95,000
