Mc2-USA, Inc.
is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for work on constructing and operating McMillan-McGee Corporation’s (Mc2) proprietary in-situ thermal environmental remediation technology.
*_Responsibilities:_*
* Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
* Assembling and installing our patented Environmental Remediation equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools, including some basic welding
* Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions
* Adjusting equipment and repairing or replacing defective parts
* Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machineries
* Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations
* Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
* cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on equipment
* Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
* Performing other related duties as assigned
*_Requirements:_*
* 4th year electrical apprentice or Journeyman/woman
* Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
* Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
* Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment
* Ability to work independently with out supervision and meet tight deadlines
* Able to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all ties
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Physically able to keep up in a fast moving field environment
* Plumbing experience would be an asset
* Must be willing to travel 100% of the time
This is a fast moving, frequently changing position, the perfect candidate must be a "chameleon" of sorts.
Willing to learn new things and be comfortable with tasks changing on a regular basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.
