Position Overview The Master Catalog Manager, a fully remote position, will report directly to the Director, Catalog and play a critical role in overseeing the maintenance and accuracy of our product catalog and manage relationships with internal teams.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring accurate product information, optimizing supplier relationships, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Essential job functions: Monitor the creation, organization, and maintenance of our tire product catalog Ensure accurate and comprehensive product information, including specifications, pricing, part numbers, and descriptions Communicate regularly with cross functional teams on catalog updates, creating reports on key catalog KPI’s Implement best practices for catalog management, including data cleansing, standardization, and taxonomy development Coordinate with sourcing teams to collect product data and establish strong working relationships Continuously monitor and improve data quality, consistency, and completeness within the catalog Collaborate with suppliers to obtain updated product information, including new product releases and changes Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate ordering of products.
Work closely with the sales channel teams to ensure accurate product information across all channels Make recommendations for product additions, retirements, and adjustments based on market insights Other Duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience Minimum of 5 years of catalog management, product data management, or supplier/vendor relationship management Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficient in using catalog management systems and tools and advanced Excel functions for data analysis and manipulation Excellent communication and negotiation skills, building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and vendors Familiarity with data governance principles, data quality management, and catalog taxonomy Knowledge of industry standards, product classification systems, and e-commerce platforms is a plus Comprehensive tire knowledge is preferred Working Conditions and Physical Effort Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Talking through the computer for many meetings and one-to-one conversations Continuous viewing of a computer monitor and data entry.
Travel as necessary (<10%).
