Our team ensures peak performance, availability, stability and security of our systems and platform.
As an Azure Infrastructure Architect, you will lead strategy and tactical planning for the installation, maintenance, upgrade, and improvements to the company's IT cloud infrastructure operating environment and be responsible for the enhancing reliability and performance of the infrastructure.
This includes defining best practice for monitoring of the operating environments, responding to incident escalations, problem management/preventions, and providing recommendations for any future areas of opportunity.
Individuals in this job family are also responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the legacy infrastructure.
The fundamentals for the job… Lead in the design, installation, configuration, maintenance of all Azure platform services.
Lead continuous improvement around testing and performance of these systems, networks, cloud services, and related utilities and hardware.
Lead support for network communications, including circuit design, monitoring, problem diagnosis/repair, and traffic analysis.
Troubleshoot the most complex problems as reported by users and team members.
Serve as an escalation point for the business by responding to critical alerts and outages.
Support the team as a subject matter expect with willingness to mentor team members.
Provide infrastructure solutions based on application needs and anticipated growth.
Lead the development of process for the installation and updating of software upgrades for server operating systems and maintaining computer operations, network, and cloud service etc.
Consult with security operations, DevOps, DBA teams to deliver cross-functional technology strategy.
Create, update, and maintain architecture documentation of current and new systems, environments, and cloud services.
Server as a knowledge resource for team members involved in 24x7 on-call schedule.
What we expect of you The bold requirements… Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related field.
(In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
) 8+ years of demonstrated experience in IT infrastructure and/or cloud infrastructure.
Achieved or pursuing Microsoft Solutions Architect certification.
Experience with Azure cloud platform and various Azure cloud native services at expert levels.
Experience with various technology concepts around compute, storage, network, SAN, NAS technology etc.
Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or other related Cloud services.
Experience with cloud management tools in the areas of monitoring, security, gateways solutions, load balancers etc.
Experienced with IT automation tools like PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, etc.
Required to travel on occasion to support business activities/planning.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
