*Job Description*
*Position Overview:* The Solar Electrical Superintendent will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of utility-scale and commercial solar projects.
This position involves overseeing the electrical aspects of solar installations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and managing a team of electrical technicians to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
*Key Responsibilities:*
*Project Leadership:*Lead and manage the electrical aspects of utility and commercial solar projects from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and execute project plans.
*Team Management:*Recruit, train, and supervise electrical technicians and subcontractors.
Provide guidance and support to the electrical team to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks.
*Quality Assurance:*Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure all electrical work meets industry standards and project specifications.
Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to identify and address issues promptly.
*Safety Compliance:*Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring that all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct safety meetings and provide training to maintain a safe work environment.
*Schedule Management:*Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that electrical work is completed on time and within budget.
Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to meet project milestones.
*Material and Equipment Management:*Coordinate the procurement and delivery of electrical materials and equipment.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are well-maintained and in good working order.
*Documentation:*Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, work orders, and change orders.
Prepare and submit project status reports to senior management.
*Problem Solving:*Identify and address any technical or logistical challenges that arise during construction.
Work collaboratively to find solutions and keep projects on track.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
* Significant experience in electrical construction and supervision, with a focus on utility-scale and commercial solar projects.
* Electrical contracting license or relevant certifications preferred.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
* Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
* Valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.
00 - $110,000.
