IT/OT ENGINEER
The ideal candidate is adept at networking and communication between control systems and associated HMIs in a GMP environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate effectively with System Owners and Business Process Owners to ensure GMP compliance during system upgrades/patching and changes.
Conduct annual reviews of automation accounts, overseeing user account auditing, provisioning, resets, and activation for both IT and OT systems.
Collaborate closely with system owners, offering support for various manufacturing site projects and administrative functions.
Lead efforts in Disaster Recovery Documentation and drive Business Continuity Testing initiatives.
Provide support for document management systems.
Proactively participate in the day-to-day operations of Manufacturing IT OT systems.
Assist the System Owner squad in the procurement, development, integration, modification, operation, maintenance, and retirement phases of control systems.
Review and address ServiceNow tickets, ensuring they are appropriately directed to subject matter experts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in system and/or network administration.
Demonstrated ability to think and solve problems at a system-level.
Biopharmaceutical or similar Manufacturing domain knowledge.
Application Engineering experience with manufacturing control systems in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
Experience with industrial data and control interfaces.
Experience with setting up manufacturing system infrastructure and networks.
Experience building automation systems, infrastructure, and networks from the ground up.
Entrepreneurial mindset.
This is an excellent opportunity that is a long-term project, possibly through 2025 for the right engineer who can work onsite and also from home on occasion.
