Description:
RDTS is in search for an experienced Project Manager to provide supervision over a GSA Region 6 Administrative and Professional support contract.
The contract provides a variety of administrative and professional support classifications described herein at various locations in the "Heartland Region".
The Project Manager will be required to travel to all locations in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska where contractor employees are located, at a minimum of once per fiscal quarter.
Services are currently being provided at each of the locations listed below:
Kansas City, Kansas
Kansas City, Missouri (majority of contract work)
St.
Louis Metropolitan Area
Topeka, Kansas
Des Moines, Iowa
Omaha, Nebraska
Lincoln, Nebraska
Other areas in the four-state Region as determined by the Government
Other responsibilities of Project Manager(s):
Project Manager is the individual with overall responsibility for personnel working under this contract.
Project Manager may be responsible for assignment of work to their contractor employees in coordination with the GSA point of contact.
Shall coordinate with the Government Point of Contact work hours of employees under the contract, start/stop delays, telework arrangements, workspace set-up.
Shall coordinate with PBS Security team the processing of security clearance for employees under contract as well as removal of employees (collecting of badges, escorting from building, obtaining Government issued equipment, etc.
)
Keep the Contracting Officer and COR informed of job changes/movement of employees.
Promote healthy culture and work environment.
Ensure GSA customer needs are met.
Have authority to sign modifications to task orders and base contract.
Disseminate information to contract employees regarding building closures, inclement weather, suspension of performance, etc.
Ensure contract employees’ security clearance(s) are maintained and active throughout the life of the contract.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree.
Experience in facilities management and/or commercial construction project management.
Clear demonstration of at least 3 continuous years of experience in program/project management.
Must have within the last 5 years of management, management of at least 25 concurrent employees.
Management activity examples include recruiting employees, evaluating employee performance, disciplining employees, terminating employees, etc.
