The AIS Production Supervisor is a key member of the production team that provides production support in a WCM environment supporting the Yukon, OK facility.
The Production Supervisor ensures the production department operates at the highest level of safety and quality with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
The primary functions of the AIS Production Supervisor are to ensure the efficient utilization of labor and plat to meet production requirements and delivery dates, help control materials, create and comply to the companies policy and procedures, comply with QHSE standards.
Job Responsibilities
Manages safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale to achieve positive results and KPIs.
Manages department priorities, schedules, all production employees time and attendance.
Establish goals and objectives for direct reports through the Annual Performance Development Review process
Coordinate with Human Resources for production staffing needs and team training.
Review processing schedules and production orders to plan inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, budgetary limitations and time constraints
Create and maintain updates of standard operating procedures.
Ensure shift associates are trained to maintain accurate records as required regarding the production schedule, quality audits, and equipment logs along with data entry for completion of daily paperwork daily
Report production performance – Monitor and report on internal performance as it relates to production yields
Plan materials processing to meet the MRQ schedule.
Procure materials to meet the demand of the plan and maintain accurate stock levels.
Maintains a high level of visibility on the plant floor level to ensure World Class Manufacturing systems are integrated into the production process and daily work practices.
Provides employee coaching and development, with fair and consistent feedback to help resolve employee issues while following and enforcing company procedures and policies
Refresh operator training and licenses as required.
Establishes standard operating procedures and ensures standard work is followed through WCM
Performs accident investigations and reviews audit scores within the production department
Demonstrate the ability to drive results, be proactive and make improvement suggestions
Job Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma required
2-3 years Supervisory experience preferred
Ability to excel in a cross-cultural, global team environment.
Industrial sewing experience strongly preferred
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office products
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Mechanical aptitude
