Overview & Responsibilities

Under general guidance and minimal supervision, the Field Engineer performs a wide range of technical tasks and ensures proper installation, service and commissioning of Cryogenic pumps and/or Cryogenic turbine expanders.
In this role, the FSE provide technical support for installation and commissioning of projects and provides technical oversight of repair, removal, maintenance, and emergency support; as well as remote troubleshooting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform troubleshooting activities at site locations to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution, and oversees corrective actions
Perform installation and commissioning technical direction activities at customer site locations
Capable of working unsupervised and in remote locations
Under the direction of a senior engineer/team leader, performs a wide range of tasks to ensure the technical integrity and proper installation and commissioning of Ebara International Corp.

Provides training and instruction to customers on Ebara International Corp.
equipment as required.
Ensure appropriate response and service is provided to customer, while maintaining a professional and courteous manner at all times
When not traveling, supports technical inbound call from customers and assists with technical support
Diligently documents site activities and completes reports in timely fashion after site work completion
Documents deviations at site from OEM standards and completes engineering incident reports as required.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communication in a manner, so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical related fields or equivalent knowledge through job- related industry experience
Minimum of 2 years of field service and/or commissioning experience preferred
Ability to travel to destinations in the USA or overseas on short notice and for extended periods of time to troubleshoot existing Ebara equipment
Ability to execute complicated assignments, using creative ability and independent judgment
Possess detailed knowledge, competence and expertise with installation and commissioning tasks and services
Strong computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office applications
Ability to learn and follow defined departmental policies, procedures and practices
Abilities
Must be able to follow site working hours & rules, safety regulations
Must be able to pass site safety tests
Willingness to take “fit for duty” test and Drug and Alcohol testing, as required by certain locations
Must have a current passport
Must be able to Complete and meet special VISA requirements
