Safety Policies and Procedures, as well as the safety requirements of our customers where applicable.
Attend industry tradeshows and related technical conferences.
Interact with manufacture representatives, end-user’s (facilities), specifying engineers, building inspectors, and electrical contractors to determine best BENDER solution for application.
Provide technical education sessions (Lunch & Learns, etc.
) to internal/external stakeholders.
Document Sales/Business Development/Tradeshow activities in a timely and accurate manner in CRM.
Creation, modification, and maintenance of project related partners (roles and contacts) in Salesforce.
Assist Channel Manager in training partners on how to effectively sell company products.
Provide input to product development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of necessary company and partner personnel.
Provide 2nd level support for product / installation / usage technical inquires.
Assist Healthcare Business Unit on achieving or exceed annual business targets.
Other Duties Complete reports & metrics as required by management.
Assist in the development and continual maintenance of process, procedures, and supporting documentation as required by management.
Assist in the review and development of product technical and marketing collateral.
Coordinate medical tradeshow booth/attendee registration, material bookings, and logging accommodations.
Requirements: Educational and Experience Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience in consultative pre-sales at a firm providing technical equipment (non-commodity) into critical infrastructure segment(s).
Healthcare segment (Hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Center, etc.
) preferred.
4-year engineering degree from accredited university (4-year non-engineering degree + additional experience in a technical field may be considered).
Excellent communication and influence skills to work with senior executives across various functions and geographies.
Strong technical presentation skills.
Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand.
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) & NFPA 99.
Familiarity with the function and usage of basic low voltage electrical distribution equipment.
Ability to read/understand electrical schematic drawings, panel schedules, and specifications.
Must be highly efficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook).
Other Requirements Ability to travel up to 40%.
Extremely efficient with detail-oriented assignments while multitasking and meeting deadlines.
Good communication skills.
Possess confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
High energy / motivated personality.
Ability to multitask.
Willingness to learn new things.
Ability to work both independently and with a team.
