Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct the activities of the construction team, ensuring all team members are performing their tasks safely and efficiently.
Plan and organize the daily workload, coordinating necessary resources and materials to meet all timelines.
Interpret and implement construction plans and drawings, ensuring specifications are followed accurately.
Carry out quality control tasks, inspecting work at various stages to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and management to provide updates and resolve issues.
Ensure safety protocols are always followed while promoting a clean job site.
Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages continuous improvement.
Assist in the estimation of job costs, preparation of quotes, and management of project budgets.
Actively problem-solve and troubleshoot project-related issues.
Requirements:
3-5 years of landscape construction experience.
Proven experience as a Team Leader or supervisor, with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and DOT medical card by the first day of employment.
Hoisting License encouraged but not required.
Extensive knowledge and experience in installing a variety of hardscape applications.
Must be professional in appearance and actions.
Great time management skills.
Punctual and dependable with a can-do attitude.
Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge and skill levels.
Physical Demands:
This job is physically demanding.
It requires lifting heavy objects, standing, kneeling, or bending for long periods and various weather conditions.
