Production Planner/Scheduler

*Job Description:* HII Unmanned Systems is looking for a Production Planner and Scheduler for a newly created value stream.
As the Production Planner and Scheduler for this newly created value stream, you will be responsible for the following: • Lead the value stream’s Sales & Operations Planning process.
• Manage the value stream’s Master Production Schedule.
• Planning and schedule material acquisition and manufacturing work orders in a traditional MRP environment.
• Develop and maintain labor resource loading plan.
• Partner with the Program Managers who have projects within the value stream.
• Work with Operations team to plan, schedule and control shop floor execution.
• Track the operational aspects of all value stream projects, identify potential obstacles, develop mitigation strategies and communicate to applicable personnel.
• Prepare, attend and contribute to project status meetings.
• Coordinate with Engineering on needed drawing changes, requirements, material, hardware, etc.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to expedite priorities.
• Coordinate with Sub-Contractors on dates for services.
• Communicate and work effectively with team members, other departments and company employees.
\*\*This role requires an onsite presence *Minimum Qualifications:* * 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
