Here YE! Hear YE! Looking for Docents! Dennis Historical Society (Dennis MA)

The Dennis Maritime Museum Is Looking for Docents for their 2024 season! If you enjoy meeting people and the history of Dennis, this could be an amazing opportunity! Starting July 10th we will be open Saturday, July 6th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm & Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm through August 30th.
The docent welcomes guests to the museum and points out a few of the objects in the current display.
They then encourage guests to enjoy the exhibit and ask any questions they might have.
Each new docent will be given a personal tour to familiarize them with the museum’s permanent collection.
In 2024 we will be displaying new acquisitions to the Dennis Historical Society’s collection.
The docents will be given information on the artifacts so they will feel comfortable explaining them to our guests.
