Under the direction of the Director of Infrastructure Solutions, the Systems Analyst will analyze the company’s operating applications to provide optimal performance and integration of resources supporting the technological environment.
They will modify, code, test, debug and document programs for operating systems, compilers, tools and utilities.
Additionally, they will research and study new products, test for compatibility, evaluate and make recommendations for purchase.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide support for assigned applications, ensuring high availability Provide hands-on and remote troubleshooting and problem resolution Drive efforts to proactively identify application or system issues improving availability and performance Ensure application Service Level Agreements are exceeded by maintaining ownership of incidents through resolution Complete projects, coordinate with team members and provide status updates Track problems and bugs with vendors and communicate with customer as resolutions are implemented Coordinate the prompt diagnosis and resolution of infrastructure issues that have an impact on the production environment Manage demands of deadlines that are responsible for all host services implementations and conversion-related activities Perform troubleshooting techniques to solve connectivity problems; working with appropriate vendors for resolution Stay current on security-related issues and analyze the impact on UFS; making recommendations for security management and monitoring processes Generate and maintain virtual servers; perform cloning tasks and snapshots and monitors performance for assigned systems and applications.
Responsible for workstation/server security Produce workstation and server security scans and resolve issues Ensure vulnerabilities are managed with priority, to align with the UFS vulnerability policy.
Perform all duties with a high level of change management aligned with UFS change management policy.
Systems’ performance and capacity monitoring and reporting Perform problem-solving duties for supported applications for internal and external customers Assist in the installation, maintenance and support of company servers Actively participate in special projects and strategic initiatives based on our priorities for the year You will be asked to participate in culture-related meetings, activities and events.

Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent required 3-5 year experience with application, desktop/server support Fiserv Premier experience required MS SQL experience IBM DB2 experience IBM i operating system experience Previous experience in the banking industry a plus Knowledge and Skill Working knowledge of security practices relating to workstations, servers, internet, etc.
Ability to use troubleshooting techniques to resolve Fiserv host environment and underlying infrastructure.
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Desire to continually improve and contribute to our Purpose of Empowering Community Banks and our People to Thrive – Together Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls.
