Andromeda Systems Incorporated (ASI) is seeking full-time Electrical/Electronics Engineers.
Engineers are responsible for providing technical assistance and guidance for operations and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment for various DoD aircraft in Oklahoma City and the Jacksonville, FL area.

Fast growing and extremely stable company Small company atmosphere Great work environment Compressed and flexible work schedules Partial ability to work from home Diverse projects supporting multiple platforms Fantastic co-workers and customers Casual work attire Compressed and flexible work schedules Hands-on assignments that don’t happen behind a desk Responsibilities: Support Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) production, testing, and troubleshooting of military aircraft electrical and avionics systems Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, develop, implement, test, and evaluate projects within the electronic engineering discipline Perform root cause analysis and engineering investigations of failed electronic components and systems Review technical publication deficiency reports and update publications as necessary Develop Local Engineering Directives, engineering instructions, test and repair procedures for aircraft systems maintenance Provide recommendations, designs, and reports to Government representatives for final actions, review, and follow-up Up to 10% travel may be required Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited college or university 5 years of aircraft Electrical/Electronics engineering experience Knowledge of installation, operation, repair, testing, and troubleshooting of various avionics, weapons, and electrical systems used on military aircraft Ability to understand and interpret electrical drawings, test requirements, and operating and troubleshooting procedures Familiarity with EMI/EMC, grounding, shielding, & bonding concepts applicable to aircraft, aircraft systems/components, and wiring/cables Experience utilizing aircraft automated test equipment Experience operating laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logical analyzers, signal generators and time domain reflectometers Ability to use Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing Preferred Qualifications: 10+ years of Electrical/Electronics engineering within the aviation, aerospace, or defense industry Knowledge of installation, operation, repair, testing and troubleshooting of various EO/IR systems used on military aircraft Familiarity with standard/accepted electrical engineering practices including installation, repair, and test practices for aircraft connectors, wire, cables, and fiber optics as specified in NA 01-1A-501 series manuals Familiarity with specialized test equipment used for testing of EO/IR systems including ATE and associated TPSs (especially with the CASS “family of testers”) Familiarity with laser safety practices Experience developing and reviewing electrical drawings, circuit schematics, and block diagrams Familiarity with specialized ground support equipment/test sets (for testing electrical power/power distribution, instruments, flight controls, engine/propulsion, RF systems, etc.
) Experience with NAVAIR engineering and reporting procedures Work Authorization/Security Clearance: Must be a U.
