Generator Maintenance Technician

* Assist in generator installations * Perform Preventative Maintenance, including oil changes, on our customers automatic standby generators * Diagnose/Troubleshoot generators that have issues or are not working properly * Explain to customer if their generator has an issue and how you would be able to fix it * Provide repair options to the customer * Must be able to regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift for prolonged periods of time.
* Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Must have basic knowledge of how a transfer switch and generator operate * Troubleshooting and repairing of operational failures of ATS’s (automatic transfer switches) * Applicants must be clean-cut, neat, and professional * Well-spoken and polite * Clean Driving Record * Experience with Residential Customers a PLUS * Generator training or certification a HUGE PLUS.
* Auto mechanic or auto knowledge a PLUS * Ability to pass a background check * Ability to work independently * At least 2 years experience * Knowledge of NEC Code a plus Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * Paid time off Schedule: * Monday to Friday Work Location: Remote
