*Title: Supply Chain/Rate Assessor/ Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development* *Anywhere in USA (70% Travel)* *Salary $95K/yr* *Job description* *- Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development* *Leadership* · Broad-based management skills, with strong planning, communication, and decision-making ability to successfully direct concurrent projects.
· Lead and managed 10 + team members and Mentor the team for successful delivery of work assigned to them · Must have good understanding and exposure to Business / Technical / IT capability / Operations/ Managing and Training people.
· Need to have good experience to deal with executive leadership at customer and suppliers end.
· Engages with internal stakeholders to ensure all requirements and priorities are fully understood · Create and implement Contingency plans / Governance mechanism *Supply Chain Management Skill sets* · Shall be familiar with vendor identification process /supplier Assessment Criteria and ratings / audits and qualification procedure.
· Ability to independently handle Negotiation and Commercials finalization · A strong understanding of standards and specifications for fabrication, outside processing, ABC analysis/ Packaging and forwarding/ Logistics / shipping and/or transporting of materials.
· Risk assessment or Risk Mitigation against critical supplies or monopoly suppliers · Proven case studies of contribution in Chronic supplier Management/ Rate readiness assessment/ Supplier recovery o Develop and manage the suppliers who are underperforming in respective region o Enable recovery of chronic supplier by Identifying the Root Cause and propose Corrective Actions o Hands on experience on Transfer of Work/Risk analysis & Mitigation planning o Report and close the supplier issue · Knowledge on process manufacturing process and exposure to various commodities like machining, forgings, casting, sheet metal and plastics.
o Handling large volume of components & Sub-assemblies o Special processes & Qualification Methods · Experience supporting major Aircraft Programs from fabrication through major assembly.
· Working experience in Composite, Fabrication, Assembly and Machining environments.
· Sound knowledge on Quality system like aero standards AS9100/NADCAP etc.
for implementation across organization and familiarity with APQP and PPAP system.
· Having experience with suppliers from various geographic regions · Provide guidance on Six sigma and lean practices.
*Technical Requirement* · Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial , production engineering · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Strong MIS/ presentation skills to customers & all stake holders Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $95,000.
