Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion - Specific to Water and Wastewater projects
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project success
- Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet goals and objectives
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of the project
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater principles and practices
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficiency in construction management software for project planning and tracking
- Experience with Civil 3D software for design and drafting purposes
- Excellent project scheduling skills to effectively manage timelines and resources
- Strong coordination skills to facilitate collaboration among different teams and stakeholders
- Exceptional time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with contract management processes and procedures
- Proficiency in software for document control and project administration
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings accurately
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
