JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Human Resources Leader is responsible for providing HR oversight for individually assigned sites and acting as a liaison between HR and the rest of the organization in order to execute HR initiatives.
The duties include coordinating the rollout of new initiatives, administering policies, engaging in employee relations, development of site HR Representatives, and communication.
This position has direct reports.
Position reports to Executive Vice President, HR.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with site leadership and/or site HR to provide daily HR direction.
Serve as a consultant to advise other managers on human resources issues, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment.
Rollout training and development in conjunction with the Talent Management team.
Handle staffing issues, such as mediating disputes and directing disciplinary procedures.
Coach, lead and mentor team members to meet objectives.
Evaluate current team members and identify areas of training improvement.
Plan and coordinate an organization’s workforce.
Coordinate and supervise Site HR Representatives to ensure execution of HR initiatives.
Partner with Center of Excellence for recruitment, interview, selection, and hiring processes.
Organize and lead weekly or monthly meetings with team members.
Other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum required experience is Bachelor’s degree in related field.
HRCI or SHRM certification preferred.
Minimum related experience required for this position is 7 years.
2 years’ experience in successfully leading a team.
Preferred Skills
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills and a working knowledge of employment laws.
Prior HR experience in manufacturing preferred.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers and employees.
This position requires an ability to define problems, collect data, and apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instruction.
Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in sometimes complex situations.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
