RIE Coatings is looking for an experienced Director of Business Development specifically within the medical and/or aerospace industries, to drive profitable sales growth as we continue to expand our footprint across the country.
What are we looking for?
As the Director of Business Development, you will be a growth-minded, engaged leader working towards expanding the company and customer base.
You will have experience within the medical or aerospace industries and be the subject matter expert as we navigate these new areas of opportunity.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience with OEM selling, technical experience with B2B sales, and a proven track record of sales growth and performance.
This position will require a minimum of 50% travel.
It will also be helpful if you have experience within the surface treatment industry and M&A experience, although not required.
A few of the job responsibilities include (not an inclusive list of duties):
Drive sales growth for identified territories and customers by identifying opportunities to use RIE's products, both existing and potential, to create value for those customers.
Penetrate product end users/OEM's to sell the value of the RIE's products and work towards securing print position with those end users/OEM's.
Actively manage sales funnel opportunities and projects to ensure timely completion and improve close rate
Make regular sales calls, both direct and by accompanying various RIE team members, to assigned customers along with potential customers to establish and strengthen relationships creating more business opportunities.
Required Qualifications include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or another related field.
10+ years of successful sales experience within a manufacturing/production industry
Experience in the medical and/or aerospace industries.
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal)
Strong ability to work independently and self-motivate
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
Ability to travel a minimum of 50%

Salary Range: $110,000-$150,000 plus annual bonus opportunity
