) will be utilized while working with vendors and partners in providing value-based solutions.
The Preconstruction Manager will captain major project opportunities in design phase through final bidding & contracting; significantly impacting business results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for submission of competitive and timely pricing proposals in accordance with company policies and procedures
Demonstrate Sightline's (SCS) core values during customer/partner interactions to strengthen existing & forge new business relationships
Utilize established systems and processes to allow thorough review of project requirements and bid documents during bidding phase of major opportunities
Identifying, qualifying, and developing new business leads via the web, industry publications, and construction exchange databases
Management of sales pipeline utilizing TCP’s CRM and ERP tools
Managing and organize project documentation
Follow-up tasks on new leads and responding to incoming bid requests
Perform material and quantity takeoffs (as needed)
Presenting an idea that contributes to our continuous improvement culture
Preparing cost estimates for budgets and final proposals
Engaging project team during project delivery phase to ensure successful project completion and pr…Setting projects up for success with thorough communication and information sharing during project handoff phase
Sales forecasting and reporting to assist in the development of marketing strategies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business (relevant experience)
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to prioritize activities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
Detail-oriented
Self-starter who can work independently
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Customer-centric
Ability to bring solutions where others see problems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of sales and/or estimating experience within commercial construction
Strong knowledge of the commercial construction market, preferably glazing or ornamental metal
