*JOB SUMMARY*
· Manage and drive the independent representative companies to meet SPX FLOW Mixing Solutions’ procedures, goals and objectives.
· Responsible for order and sales volume and profitability of all products, including forecasting.
· Bring sales perspective to every action or program SPXFLOW initiates to make certain we remain the leader in the marketplace.
· Identify acquisition candidates and other market opportunities for growth.
*PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* · Provide the necessary leadership to representatives and Mixing Solutions Personnel to obtain orders, sales and margin goals for the defined region.
· “Own” the representative and customer relationships within the defined region.
Relate to customers and drive change to meet the needs of customers.
· Develop strategy and pricing controls for quotations.
Manage sales pipeline with timely forecasting and reporting.
· Establish and maintain a yearly business plan for each sales office, including annual order and sales budgets.
· Monitor, evaluate and manage sales office performance against the plan and budgets.
Replace non-performing sales offices with appropriate new candidates.
· Responsible for commercial decisions (strategies and pricing) for all business within the defined region.
· Establish and drive specific sales plan to implement new products, services and programs.
· Maintain CRM reporting with regular updates to manage opportunities and quotes and provide management visibility for sales pipeline.
· Provide customer (sales) perspective as Mixing Solutions implements new programs, products or initiatives.
· Achieve business growth year-over-year.
*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES* · Strong engineering knowledge and advanced knowledge of industrial liquid mixer products and mixing processes to provide technical solutions to customers preferred, equivalent experience with rotating equipment such as industrial pumps, gearboxes or compressors acceptable.
· Supervision and training of an independent representative sales channel · Familiar with CRM and typical business and spreadsheet software, use of Teams or equivalent · Team building within SPX FLOW, the sales channel and customers · Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* · BS degree or equivalent, MBA preferred · Minimum 10 years sales and sales management experience, preferably with “wet-end” process equipment.
· Proven track record in a leadership role.
· Understanding of business process and functions outside of sales and marketing, including finance, human resources, information technology, product development and manufacturing.
· Customer support experience.
