A Dynamics Customer Insights Data Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data solutions using Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
This role requires a combination of technical skills and business acumen, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers.
Responsibilities
Data Engineering
· Design and implement data engineering solutions using Azure services and best practices.
· Develop, test, and monitor data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics
· Perform data ingestion, transformation, and integration from various sources, such as relational databases, files, streams, and APIs.
· Optimize data performance, quality, and reliability using Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure Databricks
· Participate in Scrum software development life cycle using Azure DevOps and Git for code management and collaboration.
· Document and communicate data engineering solutions and architectures to stakeholders and clients.
· Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations and service features / developments in data engineering and Azure technologies.
Dynamics 365 Customer Insights
· Configure and customize Customer Insights to integrate data from various sources.
· Develop and maintain data quality rules, data enrichment processes, and data segmentation criteria using Customer Insights.
· Create and optimize customer profiles, segments, KPIs, and measures using Customer Insights.
· Assist functional consultants in implementing data-driven customer journeys and marketing campaigns using Customer Insights and Dynamics 365 Marketing.
· Monitor and troubleshoot data ingestion, processing, and synchronization issues using Customer Insights and Azure tools.
· Provide training and support to business users on how to use Customer Insights and related Power BI dashboards and reports.
Qualifications
· At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, data analysis, or data science using Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
· Certification in MB-260: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
· Proficient in SQL or Python for data manipulation and analysis.
· Proficient in Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and M for data visualization and low-code data transformation.
· Familiar with Azure DevOps, Git or other version control software and process.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
