It is impossible to accurately describe this floor plan, this layout where the house is just so big and everything is oversized.
There is a rear wing on the 2nd floor here.
The structure itself is 5000 sq ft so this is a very large home.
It sits on an acre in Sagamore Beach which also is impeccable.
Considering the aforementioned area, the bedroom, bathroom, etc.
does not get used, it remains empty.
The bedroom is huge, skylights, two closets, even a fair amount of storage space.
It is impeccably maintained, the property also has 24/7 security that is the real deal.
My uncle is very security conscious.
The described 2nd floor back/rear area even has its own heating zone, there are many zones in total.
As I said, this is difficult to explain where this is not a typical room rental.
There is very large "private full bathroom" directly outside the bedroom door that has a full sized washer and dryer.
That bathroom is also kind of ridiculously big! If one were to put a door in the hallway going towards the rear
wing, it could actually be described as a studio apartment as its so inclusive and large.
However that is not in any plans.
Considering that area simply does not get used it is remarkably private and secluded.
Again, this is so difficult to describe as of course one looks and reads "room rental" pictures a 9 by 12 bedroom, then sharing a bathroom with 3 other people, and of course thats what one would think.
Not so, this is as close to almost a house share as one could get.
I hesitate to call it a house share as there are rooms that would be off limits.
However most of the house, the decks, etc would be welcomed to be used.
I am putting this up for my retired uncle where I know he won't.
Full disclosure.
He had problems before with having welcomed what appeared to be a wonderful retired man, his age into this home, and unfortunately the man was an active alcoholic, then drugs, then lying, and need I say more.
Therefore my uncle is so gun shy and not willing to believe that there are good people out there, he just won't list it.
Ive taken upon myself to investigate to see if there is anyone who would like to live in a beautiful home.
Of course with his permission.
I have got to believe there are still good people out there.
The home is pretty much on the canal.
Its really quite the beautiful home on an acre of land.
It does concern me my uncle (just such a good man) is living in this 5000 sq ft home alone, and he really is such a good person, I would never go out on this serious a limb if he weren't.
I would love to see him able to have coffee, dinner, just sit on one of the three decks and enjoy himself with a
roommate/housemate.
The one man he did rent to years ago, perhaps 4 years back he and my uncle got along so well it was almost as though it was a houseshare.
Of course he won't admit it, however I know he would love to have the right person to share all this with.
I know this is long winded.
Although I felt it best to try and describe as accurately as possible the real honest and accurate situation.
This could very well be the best scenario on Cape Cod.
He isn't even trying to get what he easily could get regarding money.
He's always said to me, "its all about the person, the money while it does help, it's just not about money" And he is being honest.
I know he is at the $1,200.
00 a month area which does include everything.
He even bought all new air conditioners several months ago as everything has to be perfect! Of course there is off street parking, the list is endless.
Forgive this short novel, I truly am testing this to see if there may be someone like minded as my uncle is who has the desire to live in a beautiful home.
Live normally without the alcohol, drugs, the difficulties that come with all that.
I tend to believe there are still good people.
I guess I will find out.
I do have his blessing to post this, unfortunately he smiled and said, don't be too
disappointed.
Good roommates, tenant's are far and few.
.
.
.
.
He had been a full time landlord for 11 years, I have to wonder if he knows something I don't.
This could be available right now.
He has not perused renting it especially after the last stretch of dysfunction.
.
.
Good luck to all who are searching.
I live on Cape, I know how difficult it is to find something thats clean, safe, not overpriced, etc.
etc.
Again, sorry for the long winded description.
