*SUMMARY*
The primary purpose of the Livestock Division Director is to assist in the creation, management and execution of Livestock strategy while promoting Silveus Insurance Groups brand and increasing our market position in the Livestock insurance industry.
This position will direct, develop, and support both Livestock Division operational and sales employees/agents to ensure sales growth and strategic company-wide operational objectives are executed and met.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Use existing knowledge of the Livestock industry and Market to implement and create synergistic sales strategies that encompass all lines of cattle insurance offerings.
* Utilize an established network of connections with the Livestock industry to recruit and assist in onboarding new sales talent to grow the division.
* Work diligently with Marketing on creating all the sales communication that are utilized to grow the division.
* Promote team selling and expansion of existing relationships across divisions and/or geographic areas.
* Act as a resource to sales employees regarding insurance products, applications, and services; support the sales process through all phases.
* Coach agents to strategically assess customer needs and identify customer buying priorities.
* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitor offerings, customers, and decision influencers across the Livestock market.
* Lead inside Livestock Operations team to ensure the success of the sales/customer services process.
* Lead vision and development of Livestock Division software with development vendor.
* Adhere to all state, federal, and RMA regulations to ensure compliance.
* Work with the Compliance department to maintain clear and accurate operating document/procedures for reference purposes.
* Represent the company in a professional image, both in personal and professional performance.
* Participate in training and certification activities for sales staff.
* Represent and participate in weekly management meetings as a member of the Director level team.

*Education and/or Experience*
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred
* Previous experience in product support
* P&C License within first year
* Completion of basic crop 101 (12-hour program)
* Up to date with RMA requirements and Competency Exam
*Computer Skills*
PC proficient (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
)
