Contract Renewals Manager The Ren Corporate Finance group is a highly collaborative and skilled team and is looking for a hard-working professional with strong customer engagement skills.
The Contract Renewals Manager will be a critical member of the Corporate Finance function by owning and leading the renewals process in strong collaboration with the sales, finance and legal teams.
The right candidate will effectively manage the renewal calendar by not only delivering value to the customer, but also improving contract terms and increasing contract value.
This role will report to the CFO.
Duties & Responsibilities: Own, drive and lead the contract renewals process in collaboration with sales, finance, legal and customer success teams.
Manage the calendar of upcoming renewals and recommended actions aligned to corporate strategy, including proactive communication strategy to engage clients well in advance of contract expiration.
Develop and implement negotiation strategies to increase contract value and improve terms for medium and large account contract renewals.
Tailor renewal strategies and communication based on the unique characteristics of each client.
Directly negotiate with customers to improve pricing and increase overall account profitability.
Partner with legal to improve contract language and terms of service where needed.
Provide the executive leadership team with insights into renewals progress and performance against quarterly and annual targets.
Manage and communicate entire renewal lifecycle, to ensure all departments are aligned on contract updates and status.
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, management or related area 7-10 years of experience with contracts and customer negotiations Outstanding contract negotiation and objection handling experience Exceptional customer engagement and communication skills Efficient in Excel and Salesforce An entrepreneurial mindset and a positive, collaborative attitude
