We are looking for a Transactional Paralegal who resides in the eastern time zone to join our busy aviation law practice.
We are a small law firm specializing in aviation transactional and tax law.
We assist our clients in purchasing aircraft for their business and personal use.
This position will be responsible for corporate entity structure and document preparation, state and federal document filings, working with escrow companies, and heavy client contact.
The right candidate should have 6+ years of corporate and transactional experience, 4 years preferably served in a law firm or corporate legal environment, comfortable running deals from start to finish, exhibit extreme attention to detail, time sensitive and high energy.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine documents, state and federal notices, government forms and complete inquiries from government entities in compliance with regulations.
Work with escrow and title companies to complete the aircraft purchase process.
Prepare documents such as operating agreements, leases, and necessary FAA forms.
Envision new processes to improve efficiency.
Work closely with firm attorneys and other team members.
Constant contact with clients via email and phone.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in paralegal work and transactions required.
Knowledge of state websites, both secretaries of state and departments of revenue and performing internet research.
Experience with Google Docs/Sheets, billing software, and Microsoft Suite and reporting tools.
Detail and deadline-sensitive, able to work under time constraints.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work with the team as well as independently with little supervision once trained.
Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
